Marbella sits more or less in the middle of the western Costa del Sol. A 140 km stretch of coastline running from Malaga in the East to Gibraltar in the West.

There are nearly 50 golf courses on the coast all within a 30 minute drive from Marbella and this is intended to give a brief overview of some of them.

Brief description	Considered to be the no.1 golf course in Europe and home of the Ryder Cup in 1997, the first time it was played in Europe outside of the British Isles. Not cheap to play but the ultimate golfing experience.
