The city of Malaga is situated between
Torremolinos and Torrox and is known as
the “Capital of the Costa del Sol”. Many tourists will pass through Malaga as it
is home to an international airport and is the gateway to the rest of the Malaga
province. With a deep seated history, the city has seen much destruction through
the time of the Moors and the Spanish Civil War. It is now classed as a European

Marques de Larios. Whether you are looking for clothing, shoes, jewellery,
perfume, fine art, linen or souvenirs, you will find it all within the
boundaries of the city. The Central market is also one of the hidden gems in
Malaga. Here you can witness the day-to-day life of Malaga’s citizens as they

Eating out and Nightlife
A veritable feast of cuisine can be found in the many bars, restaurants and
cafés in the centre of the city. Tapas bars are a staple part of life here and
there are many to choose from. Alongside the usual Spanish fare, there is a vast
selection of restaurants which cater for the more discerning palate. A variety
of restaurants serve food from around the world including Mexican, Italian,
British and Indian dishes.
