Sierra Blanca is the name given to the most prestigious area within the town of
Marbella. Sitting at the top of the town,
300 metres above sea level this is a private estate with 24 hours security and
some of the most luxurious properties in Europe. Within the estate itself are
immaculately maintained streets and a few hundred large villas ranging in price
from €1.5m to over €20m. Just outside of the estate but still technically in the
area of Sierra Blanca there are a number of very prestigious urbanisations of
apartments and town houses. One of the attractions of Sierra Blanca is that,
although the estate itself is peaceful and secluded, it is just a 15 minute walk
away from the historic old town of Marbella and all the shops,
bars and
restaurants.
Hovering over the area is the La Concha mountain which produces a unique and
excellent year round micro climate for Marbella. It also provides stunning views
to the rear of Sierra Blanca whilst to the front are views over the
Golden mile and to the sea, Africa
and the rock of Gibraltar. This is truly a very special place.
