For those who love hiking, walking or mountain biking, Torremuelle is the

and the Virgin of the Rock Shrine is a must see activity. Benalmadena has a sea

attractions. Fuengirola offers many activities including beaches where visitors

There are very few shops in the area which only cater for the day-to-day needs
of visitors. The nearest shops can be found on the way to Fuengirola. Fuengirola
has all the shopaholic needs to survive. There is the El Cortes Ingles
department store on the outskirts of the town as well as the Miramar shopping
centre, which has everything you could want. Here you can purchase items such as
shoes, leather goods, handbags, clothing, accessories, hats, pottery, ceramics,
jewellery and art. Benalmadena has many shops located in the marina area of the
town. For serious shoppers with money to spend, the
Golden Mile in Marbella,
with its designer boutiques and fashion houses, is a short journey away.
Eating Out and Nightlife
There are a few cafés and restaurants to be found in Torremuelle, which can
serve up a range of Spanish dishes and some meals from other countries. Further
afield in Fuengirola, you will find many bars, restaurants and cafés which suit
all palates. They offer a fine range of Spanish and international beers and
wines to have with your meal.
The evenings in Torremuelle are very subdued and are mostly spent relaxing in
the villa with a bottle of wine. Serious night owls can hop on a bus to the
centre of Fuengirola where there is a whole host of evening entertainment
available. Discos, nightclubs, karaoke, live music and Flamenco dancing displays
are just some of the things you will find in Fuengirola in the evening.
